You're on our temporary site. Our main website, with many more features, is being built. For now, this is the best way to connect with us.

Our story

It started with a village that emptied out.

I'm Shaleen. I grew up in the Himalaya, in a village of pine forests, apple orchards and stone houses. Year after year the winters got shorter and the apple blossoms came early, confused by warmth that shouldn't have been there.

Work dried up, families moved to the cities, and our village ended up on a list of the ghost villages of the Himalayas. I still don't have a neat answer for that. What I do know is that the stories of these places are worth more than the noise most brands make.

Project Vanni is how I put those stories to work. We help brands find the human inside them, tell it honestly, and let people choose them because they care, not because they were pushed.

What we believe

Three rules we write by.

Open in the tension

Name the confusion, the comparison, the disconnection first. The lesson can wait.

The product comes late

It earns its place after people care. Never as the opening line.

Rooted detail wins

A real place, a real memory, one specific moment beats any amount of generic inspiration.

"Does this feel like a person still learning out loud, or a brand selling something?"
The one-sentence test

We ask this before anything goes out under a brand we work with. If it reads like a pitch, it isn't ready.

We're still learning too. That's the point. Your customers can tell the difference between someone who has it all figured out and someone being honest with them.
